Rockwood Reservation: Trail Among the Trees

Trail Among the Trees in Rockwood Reservation. An interesting mix of forest ecology and man-made features. A beautiful, though hilly, trail, that I would hike again. I am looking forward to exploring the other trails at Rockwood. 

I wanted to capture what an early August Forest was like in Missouri. At this time of year, plants have been chewed on by insects. 

A long hot, dry period putting stress on plants. 

Late Summer/Early Autumn Flowers were blooming 

I even took some photos of animals while I was there.
